Ingredients for Urad Vada
- 1 Cup Urad Dal (4-5 hours soaked)
- 1 Cup Onion (Fine Chopped)
- 1 inch Ginger (Grated)
- 2-3 Green Chilli (Fine Chopped)
- Salt - As per taste
- Oil for fry
Preparation of Dal & Mixing
- Take Dal grind coarsely
- No need to add extra water while grinding
- Mixture should be thick
- Add Urad Dal paste in big Bowl
- Add Onion in that
- Add Green Chilli
- Add Grated Ginger in that
- Add Salt as per taste
- Mix all the ingredients well
Making Vada & Fry
- Add oil in heated Kadai/Pan
- Making Vada - Grease hand with water before making vada
- Give the shape of vada - put little water on vada's surface to make vada smooth surface
- Place Vada's in heated oil
- Flip Vadas both side & fry till Golden Brown
- All Vada's are turned golden brown
- Take them out
Serving & Platting
- Serve Vada with Green chutney OR Sauce
