Shahi Paneer | Restaurant Style Shahi Paneer

                     


"Shahi Paneer " name itself is sufficient to realize the Royal dish. Shahi Paneer is a preparation of paneer in a thick gravy made up of cream, tomatoes and spices.In Shahi Paneer we are using Dry fruits , Milk ,Cream Butter , Ghee which enhance the royalty of this dish Shahi Paneer mainly eaten with Roti, Naan, Puri,Pulav , Biryani



Ingedients for Shahi Paneer 



  • 1 Cup(200 gram) Paneer 
  • 2 tbspoon Deshi Ghee 
  • 2 Medium size Onion (Grind & Paste)  
  • 2 Big Size Tomato (Grind & Paste)  
  • 1 tbspoon Tomato sauce 
  • 10-12 Cashew nut (Soaked & grind)
  • 1 spoon Ginger-Garlic paste 
  • 1/2 Cup Cream 
  • 1 Cup Milk  
  • 1 spoon kashmiri red chilli powder 
  • 1/2 spoon Paneer Masala/Garam masala 
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 spoon honey 
  • 3 Cardamom  
  • 3 Clove 
  • Few slices of cinnamon 
  • 2 bay leave 

  • Take a Kadai/Pan and heat that one, Once your Pan heated add Ghee in that.
  • Add whole Spices - Cardamom , Cloves, Cinnamon & Bay leaves
  • Add Onion Paste along with spices
  • Add Ginger Garlic paste and fry a min so that raw flavor of Garlic & Onion vanish out.
  • Add Cashew nut paste & mix well
  • Add Tomato paste/puree 
  • Add Red Chilli Powder & mix all the ingredients.
  • Cover & cook all the spices for 5 min so that all spices will get roast
  • After 5 min - Open the lid - all spices are roasted and releasing the Ghee - Add cream in that .
  • Add Tomato Sauce - We are adding tomato sauce to enhance the taste of Shahi Paneer.
  • Cook for 2-3 min 
  • Now add milk in that and stir
  • Add Paneer Masala/ Garam Masala 
  • Add Salt as per taste .
  • Add Honey & mix all the ingredients well
  • After adding milk stir continuously 2-3 min so that curry wont stick in pan 
  • After 2-3 min Spices are mixed very well - now add Paneer in that .
  • Cover & cook for 5 min
  • After 5 min open the lid - Sahi paneer is ready to serve


  • Garnish with Cream & Coriander
  •  You can also garnish with Saffron (Kesar) & Cream






         - Add Ghee in heated pan


         - Add Spices in heated Ghee


         - Add Cardamom , Cloves, Cinnamon & Bay Leaves 


         - Add Onion Paste


         - Add Ginger - Garlic Paste


         - Add Cashew Paste


         - Add Tomato Paste/Puree


         - Add Red Chili Powder


         - Cover & cook for 5 min


         - After 5 min - Spices are roasted


         - Add Cream


         - Add Tomato Sauce


          - Cook 2-3 min


          - Add Milk


         - Add Paneer Masala / Garam masala


         - Add Salt as per taste


         - Add Honey in that


         - Mix..Mix.Mix


         - After adding milk stir continuously 2-3 min so that curry wont stick in pan


         - Spices are mixed very well .Now add Paneer in that.


         - Cover & cook for 5 min


         - After 5 min , Sahi paneer is ready to serve


         - Garnish with cream
