Ingredients for Panjiri Prasad

  • Wheat Flour - 1 Cup (400 gram)
  • Ghee - 3 Tbspoon
  • Grind Sugar - 1 Cup (200 gram)
  • Foxnut(Makhana) - 1 Cup
  • Cardamom powder-  1/2 Spoon

How to Make Panjiri Prasad


  • Place 1 Spoon of Ghee in a heated Pan
  • Place Fox nut(Makhana) in that
  • Roast this little bit
  • Once Foxnut are roasted - Take them out in a plate
  • Add remaining ghee in a Pan
  • Once ghee heated - Place Wheat Flour in that
  • Roast this in a low flame
  • Stir continuously so that flour won't be burn
  • Approx 10 min we had roasted in low flame
  • flour turned in light golden brown now
  • Turn off the Gas flame
  • take them out in a plate & leave it to cool down
  • Once flour had cool down - Add grind sugar in that
  • Add Cardamom powder
  • Add fried foxnut in that
  • mix all the ingredients well
  • Our panjiri prasad are ready
  • Add Tulsi to complete the prasad
  • Ready to serve


Serving & Platting



  • Garnish Panjiri Prasad with dryfruits & Serve to God during Pooja/Vrat
