Ingredients for Thethari
- Gram Flour(Besan) - 1 Cup(200 gram)
- Oil - 1 tbspoon
- Salt as per taste
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 spoon
- Carom(Ajwain) seed - 1/2 spoon
- Water - 1/2 Cup
- Oil for fry
Dough Preparation
- Place Gram flour(besan) in Big Bowl
- Add Red chilli Powder
- Add Carom(Ajwain) seed
- Add salt as per taste
- Add oil in that
- Mix all the ingredients well
- Add little little Water & Make a hard dough
- Thethari dough is ready
Making Thethari
- Take small lumps from dough
- Roll it cylindrical shape with the help of palm
- now roll it down in flat surface and make it thin
- now give the thethari shape
- Preapare all the thethari in same manner
- all Thethari's are ready - let's fry them
Frying of Thethari
- Place all Thethari's in a warm Oil
- Flip & fry in a medium flame
- Avoid to fry in high flame else it will be redish outside & not cooked inside
- We had fried thethari approx 3-4 min in medium flame
- All Thethari's fried light Golden brown
- Take them out in a plate
- Ready to Serve
Platting & Serving
- Serve thethari with tea
