अंगाकर रोटी -छत्तीसगढ़ी व्यंजन


Chhattisgarh is well known as the 'Rice Bowl' of India and has a rich tradition of food culture.Most of the traditional foods are made of rice and rice flour, curd and a variety of green leafy vegetables.Some well known breakfast dishes made out of Rice & rice flour include Fara , Muthiya, Cheela, Angakar Roti.

अंगाकर रोटी,  Usually people like to eat this dish in the morning breakfast,
This dish is eaten either with Methi, tomato or with coriander
tomato ,chilli chutney,

Ingredient for Angakar Roti

  • Rice Flour - 2 Cup
  • Cooked Rice - 1 Cup
  • Green Chilli -  2-3 (Fine Chopped)
  • Salt (as per Taste)
  • Sesame Seed (Till) - 1/2 Spoon
  • Water  for Batter
  • Oil for Tadka

Prepare Batter for Angakar Roti

  • Add Rice Flour in a big bowl
  • Add  Chopped Green Chiili in that 
  • Add Cooked Rice 
  • Add Salt as per taste 
  • Add Water and make thick batter
  • Batter should be thick
  • Cover and keep the batter for rest for 10-15 min
  • After 10-15 min batter is ready to make Angakar Roti

  • Put some oil in heated Pan & give Tadka of Sesame seed
  • Add Batter in that
  • Cover it for 10 min 
  • After 10 min - open the lid
  • Put some oil and flip the Angakar Roti so that another  side will roast as well
  • Roast 5 -10 min another side of Angakar Roti.
  • Once both side are roasted - Angakar Roati is ready for Serve

Platting & Serving 


  • Serve with Chutney

          - Add Rice Flour in a big bowl



         - Add  Chopped Green Chiili in that 



          - Add Cooked Rice in that



         -  Add Salt as per taste 



         - Add Water and make thick batter
