Ingredients for Veg Omelette


  • 1 Cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1/2 Cup All Purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 Cup Onion (Fine chopped)
  • 2 Green Chilli (Fine chopped)
  • 1/2 Tomato (Fine chopped)
  • 1/2 Coriander (Fine chopped)
  • 1/2 spoon Chaat Masala
  • 1/2 Spoon Baking Powder
  • 2 Cup Water for batter 
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for Roasting the Omelette


How to Make Veg Omelette


Batter Preparation


  • Place Gram Flour (Besan) in Big bowl
  • Add All Purpose flour (Maida)
  • Add Salt as per taste
  • Add Baking Powder
  • Now add little little water & make a Batter
  • It should be lumps free
  • Batter should not be too thick
  • You can Make plain omlet now ..but here we are preparing Masala one
  • Add Chopped Onion in that
  • Add Chopped Tomato
  • Add Chopped Green Chilli
  • Add Chopped Coriander
  • Add Chaat Masala
  • Mix all the Ingredients well
  • Veg omelette Batter is ready - Let's make omelette

Roasting of Veg Omelette


  • Grease Oil in medium heated pan
  • Place 2-3 spoon of Batter in Pan & Spread this
  • Roast it around 30-40 sec in medium flame
  • Before turning the Omelette to another side , pore some oil in border so that it will release the border easily 
  • Grease Oil on top of Omlet also
  • Flip the Omelette & roast another side as well
  • roast around 30-40 sec this side as well
  • Now Omlet are roasted both side
  • Take them out

Serving & Platting


  • Serve Omelette with Sauce & Chutney
